OKZest has tools to enable personalised communication via Twitter Direct Messages (DMs):

Twitter Send​

Use this to send personalised DMs to thousands of people - such as those who follow your Twitter accounts, or cold outreach to other accounts.

You can send DM's with or without personalised text in the DM and the attached image.

Send DM (text only)​

  1. From your Dashboard, select 'Bulk Twitter Direct Message (with no image attached)'
  2. If you have not already linked to your Twitter account, you will br prompted to do so
  3. Enter a list of Twitter accounts that you want to DM. Enter one username per line, with or without the @
  4. Press 'Send'
    1. Once you press send, you cannot cancel. We advise sending to one person first to check the tweet works as you expect
    2. Not everyone has their DMs enabled so don't worry if some people do not get your tweet

The DM's will be sent in accordance with the rate associated to your plan (up to 450 DMs per day).

The daily limit is required because Twitter has a limit of 500 DMs per day, our cap of 450 DM sends per day allows for an additional 50 DMs in replies.

Send DM (with personalised text in an image)​

  1. Create the image
  2. From your Dashboard, select a Twitter share icon from below the image you want to share
  3. If you have not already linked to your Twitter account, you will br prompted to do so
  4. Enter a list of Twitter accounts that you want to DM. Enter one username per line, with or without the @
  5. Press 'Send'
    1. Once you press send, you cannnot cancel. We advise sending to one person first to check the tweet works as you expect
    2. Not everyone has their DMs enabled so don't worry if some people do not get your tweet

Twitter Reply​

When you send and receive lots of DM's in Twitter, it is hard to keep track of DM's that you haven't replied to, because they get buried in the list. Our Twitter Reply tool allows you to see which messages are awaiting replies.

  1. From your Dashboard, select 'View Twitter Direct Messages not replied to'
  2. If you have not already linked to your Twitter account, you will br prompted to do so
  3. Here you will see a list of DMs to reply to
