What is Personalisation and why is it Required?
When emailing people who are not aware of your brand, you need to send emails that the recipient believes to be relevant, safe to open and not spam.
Once the email is opened, studies show that people will review and discard it within 8 seconds, unless it is of interest to them.
To get the best chance of being read and a Call To Action (CTA) taking place, the emails should have:
- Subject with personal information (e.g. recipient’s name, company or location) and a clear question or prompt to entice the recipient to open it
- Content that is clear, to the point and useful for the recipient (e.g. solves a problem)
